"This is a society for betta fans and hobbyists in the Las Vegas area to gather and share their love of these beautiful fish. The LVBS is a great way for betta fanciers to meet and exchange with other people in the hobby, as well as grow in their own enjoyment of the betta hobby. We are a nonprofit organization, and wish to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere to all betta lovers. We encourage the teaching of proper care of Betta species, and proper breeding of Betta species, as well as the conservation and genetic health of Betta species."
